SPITZER. A good day to bury him:
Apparently disgraced former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer still has friends in high places. Federal prosecutors will not file charges against him, despite his regular habit of arranging “for women to travel from one state to another state to engage in prostitution,” as an investigation found. It hasn’t been proven that the high-end hookers were paid with public money and/or campaign funds.

Goodness you are exaggerating a little in the above article, wouldn’t you say? Nothing to do with friends in high places, money spent on his expensive ‘moments of pleasure’ were out of his own private funds and thus they could not charge him with misuse of public funds. As for arranging “for women to travel….” you will please recall he had one favorite he met here in DC and I believe in NY also. One ‘woman’ does not make ‘women’.
You do know the whole expose on him was because he was after the biggies in NY and trying to wipe out prostitution and he pissed off the wrong ‘biggies’. That was sheer stupidity on his part as going after the ‘biggies’ in NY was an open invitation for them to nail him on anything they could. They got him!
Food for thought: a married man has a mistress and rents an apartment for her and pays all her expenses - what is that called? A married man takes his girl friend on business trips to various states and naturally they have sex on those trips - they cross state lines and have sex at his expense - what is that called? A single man takes his girl friend on an all expense paid vacation by him to an Island, they have sex while vacationing - what is that called? All the above women have sex with a man who is paying the expenses and some crossing state lines - violation of the Mann Act! Crossing state lines to have sex!
