I like the picture of Dog (the bounty hunter) is he on TV in Britain?
If so, I pity you. This is the fool who says it’s ok for him to call people niggers because
“he’s tight with black people”.
Oh really Dog?
I know at least three who would be happy to kick his redneck butt.
But here in Obama land I guess we all have to get along now.

A border collie. I like to think that if Jesus came back, he would have a border collie. Very symbolic for the ’shepherd’ role and good company for all those long walks in the wilderness

The vote has been cast in this house and the verdicts are

from Henry and Ranald - a golden retriever;
from Harry - a terrier
from Lucy and Mollie - a yellow/black lab (there is colour division on this -Lucy is black, Mollie is yellow)
from Sally - a greyhound

Just noticed this but on the grounds on colour harmony a terrier is best, but for harmony generally the other breeds are better

The Presidential/Premier rule of pets.

It has to be a middle-sized dog. A big dog is too uber-macho for a Presidents image and a small dog is too wuzzie. No Rotties or Chihuahuas in the White House. And it must be trained to follow HIM onto assorted helicopters.
Kids can carry it when its a puppy but after that it will be HIM.

Bush got it right with a middle sized dog on little legs that he could pick up for photo ops, carry up the stairs but put down when necessary.
It must be very middle of the road, neither pampered nor ignored but it must be attractive with the aaahhhh factor. A bouncy Spaniel is good.

The missus and kids might be allowed a cat which the President/Premier can admit to tolerating but it can’t be HIS cat and it must be a moggie with a mind of its own. No pampered Persians or Sphinxes on velvet cushions.

The rules of caged pets…… oh okay. I won’t go on……
