How The Media Works: Taking A Pop At Kanye West

Kayne was arrested after a clash of personalities with the photographer. Blackburn had a sore nose. Terry once again, and predictably, went to the police. Of course he did. He had every right to stick a 20 million candle watt flash into a stranger’s face and pop away.

There was a much firmer pop, no picture but a story – of sorts.

The incident took place in the centre of the Bigg and Groat Markets, Newcastle-upon-Tyne’s pub and boozing nightspot. It’s not an area known for getting away with sticking foreign objects into revellers’ faces…unless it’s a half-cooked kebab.

West, 31, was released without charge following the incident. He was arrested in Los Angeles for a similar happening also in September.

West had played Newcastle’s Metro Radio arena and clashed with the not so happy snapper while relaxing with (rumoured) four lovely ladies..

There is no available picture of Terry Blackburn…his nose or his brass neck.
