Britain’s Next Top Model: Can Zoe Newlove Escape Her Past?

by | 25th, November 2008

GARRY Newlove was murdered. And now the Sun brings news that his daughter is to appear on Britain’s Next Top Model, a TV talent show.

It’s front-page news. Inside, readers get: “I’M DOING THIS FOR YOU, DAD.”

But Zoe Newlove did not provide that quote. Indeed, the Sun does not even speak with Zoe Newlove. All quotes come from a “pal”, who offers: “Her dad would be so proud.” The headline is of the Sun’s invention.

Credit to Zoe Newlove for not giving full throat to her tale of woe, that stock in trade for agonists wanting to do well on reality TV shows like the X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent.

If she can escape that she will have won…
