		<description>i don't agree with that comment. lost porcelein dolls are quite interesting and nicole kidman in "australia" is not. sitting through "australia" was sheer torture, worse even than "titanic" and it would have been comical if not so damn offensive - what happened to australian humour? juxtaposing scenes from "the wizard of oz" (why, because it has "oz" in the title?) against aboriginal culture was nonsensical and the whole thing had a feel of second rate vaudeville which is high praise for vaudeville only. "australia" kept going and going and going. when is this stupid fucking movie going to finish, I wondered? it may have made an ok mini series chopped up into 12 bits, for those who find neighbours intellectually challenging. even the scenery was contrived, baz lurhman's specialty is rich theatrical and the natural features of australia should not be manipulated to match nicole kidman's eyes. there were only 6 others in the cinema so i was able to respond to some emails without disturbing anyone. if you must go, do it on half price night.</description>
