Give Rachel a chance - she’s a lovely young girl, doesn’t have the irritating personality that CV had, and will grow into the job. Surely the point of Countdown is the letters and numbers games, and not how much the presenters can inject their own personalities?
CVs leaving will most certainly not damage the programme - when people think they are bigger than the show, it’s time for them to walk. Ask Julie Goodyear if that’s true or not ;o)
