BLUE comedian Roy Chubby Brown has a direct way with words, After hecklers started in on him during his second night performance at Glasgow he stormed out of a packed house four minutes into his gig with a classic Brown:”Fuck off! I’m away.”
Promoters had to lift the barriers on the £10 a bay car park when 3,0000 angry punters, including celebs, refused to pay and are now facing demands for a return of the £21 a head ticket sales.

Are you sure the acts funny?
I watched a DVD of his once - l blame the League of Gentlemen for these things turning up in otherwise leftie student flats - and I didn’t laugh once. It was some nasty fat bloke in a creepy suit & most of the punchlines were pure abuse…

actually anorak it was 3000 fans and £5 a bay car park i know because i was there and even our paper agreed the people were 3000 not 30000 and the support band was the best act that night as he came on and got heckled then said “fuck off i’m away” then the fans who heckled were ejected only for chubbs to cancel it was a big error on his part and that was my first time being at a show and i will not go again if he’s gonna do it again

It is an act, and a very funny one. In fact he is laughing all the way to the bank.
Favourite Chubs story…. when asked for a message to wake up a fan in a coma, his reply…
Wake up you Dozy C*nt.

He’s not funny. There’s too much bitterness and aggression in his act - it’s good if you’re feeling crap, need a scapegoat and want 2 hours of hate-filled bitching but it would be cheaper to go to a BNP meeting.

I can’t believe that anyone would pay £21 to listen to a couple of hours of foul mouthed sexist and racist abuse. I get enough of that at home FFS
