CREDIT CRUNCH watch: filling in the blanks with DJ Talent…

DJ Anthony Ghosh, aka DJ Talent, is selling his teeth.

“Records aren’t really shifting these days,” says the 30-year-old the electro house DJ. “It’s been like this for a couple of months now and it’s not getting any better.”

Adding:

“It’s more downloads everyone’s interested in, so the music industry is taking a drop.”

He goes on:

“I had all my teeth filed down to small spikes to be more recognisable to my fans and have a trademark as a recording artist. But due to the credit crunch and things not going too great at the moment, I’m forced to think about what I’m going to do in the future.”

“It’s a big decision getting rid of my teeth and could actually cost me my career, as I don’t know if I’ll be noticed with white teeth.”

On a brighter note, once the economic outlook improves he’ll invest in platinum crowns because “they’re better value, basically”.
