It’s ridiculous that they should test the side impact resilience of these cars with a simulated ‘T Boning’ from a large SUV. This does not happen very often in this country. The most likely side impact over here is with cyclist couriers. This happens to me a lot. You have to get the braking just right but with practice it can happen to you too.
