Kevin Rudd Is Home To Spend Christmas With Your Wife

by | 18th, December 2008

LOTS of pictures of dark-suited and smiling Gordon Brown doing his impression of where’s Wally amid all the fatigues-clad troops in Basra.

“Your courage is legendary,” says Brown, before reading aloud the preface for his book on courage in which not one squaddie features.

It could be worse. Australian leader Kevin ‘Digger for Victory” Rudd is wowing his Boys in Afghanistan.

To cheer up our troops for Christmas, says Kevin Rudd:

“I’ve been to too many funerals and I don’t like going…”

Mr Rudd empathised with the troops who will spend Christmas in what he described as “a hell hole” and a “Godforsaken place” with “shitty weather”.

And then raisign a thumb to his nose and waggling his fingers:

“I’m going to go home and spend Christmas with my wife and three kids and you’re not”

Whats he should have said was: “I’m going to go home to spend Christmas with your wife.”

Oh, and he then told the forces that he hadn’t brought them any beer.

Ready, aim…
