Mumbai Terrorists Foul Foul Of Intellectual Property Rights

by | 20th, December 2008

CHENIER loosk at how the Mumbai murderers broke the rules when they killed so many with grenades. Release the lawyers!

The handgrenades used in the terrorist attacks on Mumbai are said to be counterfeit, and Rheinmetall AG, who are the owners of the grenade trademark, are pretty seriously pissed off about the way in which their exceedingly excellent weapons are being copied without them getting a slice of the cake.

Oliver Hoffmann, their spokesman said:

“We will take the necessary measures to prevent a further misuse of the company name and infringements on protected trademarks,”

And quite right too; terrorists slaughtering innocent bystanders is one thing but abusing intellectual property rights is the sin that really matters…
