Max Impact: The Sound Of An Iraq Air Raid
FOR those we are about to shoot in the face, we salute you - the US Airforce has a metal band.
They begin each concert with:
“We’re going to rock your face off!”
From the lyrics to the Max Impact tune “Locked and Loaded”:
“Walk in the shade of the clouds at night,”
“Crawling in the dirt, calling an A-10 strike,”
“Dancing in the shadows, lives are on the line,”
“Bombs are gonna fall, just in time.”
Owing to a packed schedule, Al Qaeda have yet to find time to form a band and play pop records, although Osma bin Laden’s vouce can be clearly heard shouting “Bollox” on a bootleg recording of The Specials Play Bristol Polytechnic, 1978.
