So Israel is responsible for Hamas, and not Hamas? Is there anything the Jews - sorry, Israel - are NOT responsibel for in this world, God help us.

I’ve stayed away from Anorak’s Gaza stories because I cannot be impartial - family over there and all that - but I’d like to point out that this is just how the Taleban came to be so powerful.

When you are fighting a pack of bastards (the IDF - and the Russian invaders, in the case of Afghanistan) the Fluffy Bunny and Lovely Unicorn Party aren’t going to be of much use to you. You have to have a bastard of your own to counter them - and because they are bastards they will also turn on those who they are supposed to be defending. Palestine shouldn’t need Hamas. Palestine should NEVER have needed Hamas.

An analogy:

I knew a woman some years ago who had a physically abusive stepfather. She got herself a huge and steroid-inflated (and also steroid-enraged) boyfriend to deal with him. Then she needed a bigger steroid-addled man to get rid of that boyfriend when HE became physically abusive (and to continue to protect her from her stepfather). Then a bigger man of that ilk to get rid of that boyfriend when He fell into the same pattern of abusive behaviour.

Palestine is that woman. The IDF the stepfather. Hamas the biggest steroid-enraged boyfriend so far.

It is time for the world to make Hamas unnecessary. It is time for the world to step in and force a lasting solution. It is time for a true two-state system. Now - before the US can no longer afford to support Israel. Before Hamas gets billions from gas reserves off the Gaza coastline. Before The IDF flattens Gaza to make sure that that gas (and the money, which may amount to over a billion pounds Sterling) never makes it to Hamas. Before the US leaves Israel to the wolves and Israel feels it has to act alone - with devastating consequences for the whole middle-east and the world, but especially for the ordinary people in Gaza who just want to remain alive…and hopefully free.

Thank you for putting this material online!
It’s an eye opener that many people need to see, and they
need to see more of other stuff. It needs to come out in the
light. I just don’t understand why the general population
objects to this even to the point of writing the UN and speaking
to international reporters asking for help.

My family is very proPalestinian, and think Israel is a monster.
I live in Israel and they live in the US, in a bubble I think, as they
have never even heard a real siren send them to a bomb shelter,
much less hear a grad go off or see a burning car from a rocket!
