
VIDEO: David Beckham picks up new accent
Perhaps taking a cue from ‘Shteve’ McClaren’s cringe-inducing Dutch accent, David Beckham adopted a mysterious foreign accent when he was interviewed after scoring his first goal for AC Milan, on Sunday.

Experts in speech patterns will realise that Becks is simply conforming to the basic rules of speech accommodation, where you mirror the vocal mannerisms of the person/people you’re talking to, to fit in.
Since we’re no experts in speech, we can only say he sounds like a very silly boy.
