Woman Donates Kidney Through Her Vagina

USH. Push. Twitter me this: in Baltimore, Surgeons are removing a woman’s kidney through her vagina.
At the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Kimberly Johnson, 48, is handing her newborn kidney to niece, Jennifer Gilbert, 23.
“It was easier than childbirth,” says Johnson, mother of three organ bags.
She adds that the operation is less painful than gall bladder surgery and she is recovering more quickly than Gilbert’s father, who gave his daughter a kidney 12 years ago.
