Actually I did Anorak, I read her first one and it waa very good despite not being the genre I usually read.
She was also an ‘ex-pat kid’. There are lots of us of that generation!

She also spent many a freezing day judging dogs at our charity shows, she became very popular and it ensured a good turn out which raised loads more money - sorry LP it wasn’t a bird fancy, just Dog Watch

I’m a bit of a fan of Ann Widdecombe. Even if you disagree with her politics she is one of that very rare species, honest politicians; as opposed to the ‘out for themselves’ career politicians. There really aren’t many of them out there.
and yes June, as you say, she is an ardent animal lover and animal welfare supporter.
We need more politicians of that ilk on all sides of the House.
