Mobile Phone Explodes Killing Shop Worker
IN China a man has been killed by his mobile phone which exploded, severing a major artery in his neck.
The man, a shop assistant at a computer shop in Guangzhou, died after he put a new battery in his phone and had placed it in his breast pocket.
The make and model of the phone and its battery are not known at this time.
This is the ninth recorded cellphone explosion in China since 2002, and second death.
An Anorak investigation has found a fatal link between people calling the office after work from a crowded train and being seated by a middle-aged man frowning and loudly tutting.
Phone users are advised to ask the man to leave the train or to lock him in the train’s toilet for safety sake…

There seems to be a lot of incendiary news coming out of The Orient this week. Our post at Boggart Blog yesterday concerned a chip pan fire at a fire station in Japan. And you thought it was only pikrys like the characters in Shameless who had chip pan fires.
But id mobile phone batteries are killing people, what could a faulty electric car do? Take out a small city?

This case was caused by his home made GUN dropped on the floor and ran-off, wound his neck artery. Nothing have to do with cell phone, battery.

Mobile phones can be dangerous. One of my colleagues blue tacked his to his steering wheel boss so that he could use it hands free. He was in a minor collision and the exploding air bag pushed it into his face. The damage was terrible JFK & MNO never worked again
