Stephen Fry Is Stuck In A Twitter Lift
STEPHEN Fry is stuck in a lift.
Fry has been stuck for a couple of hours on the 26th floor of Centre Point, “one of London’s oldest and most beloved buildings”.
He is taking photos of the ordeal and live twittering.
Cindy Casares is wrong about the building, of course. Centre Point rises above New Oxford Street like the contents of flasher’s dirty mac. It is possessed of all the subtley and allure of an aroused Peter Stringfellow.
To be trapped in the inner chamber of the beast would be enough to drive a man to drink…Vim.
The story, though, is not about Centre Point, rather it is about Stephen Fry papping himself and becoming his own celebrity watcher.
He has realised that if you have talent you are your own best asset…
