Star Trek Klingon Raids Denver 7-Eleven Stores
IN Colorado Springs police are looking for a man who attacked two 7-Eleven convenience stores armed with a Klingon sword.
The clerk told police a white man in his 20s, wearing a black mask, black jacket, and blue jeans, entered the store with a weapon the clerk recognized from the Star Trek TV series.
Later he tried the same caper at another store. Once again the clerk recognised the weaponry.
Clerks are the Star Trek franchise’s key demographic. It’s nerd-on-nerd crime.
Both clerks described the weapon as a Star Trek Klingon-type sword, called a “Batleth” or “bat’leth.”
