I made it a rule many years ago to never say things like that about my kids. It can always come back to bite you. I cringed when a friend, with four daughters, confidently stated that none of hers would ever get accidentally pregnant because they 'knew better'. Hmmmm. four daughters I thought. Of course the mother was then doubly mortified when it happened. Richard M does let his mouth run away with him and I'm sure his kids are hrrofied at some of the things he says.
