Plane Crashes in New York: 48 Dead
TO New York, where a passenger plane has crashed into a home a few miles from Buffalo airport.
All 48 people on board are killed.
Continental Airlines flight 3407 from Newark, New Jersey, struck a property on its descent.
And the UK news wires got into overdrive.
A grim story. But a big UK story? A live news story?
Or are all stories now local?

we need regular plane crashes to feed our natural caution and stop us all from getting complacent about how big silver bird stays up in the sky.
Or not.
Especially if we’re about to fly.
