Boy Killed By Anal Penetrating Chair
IN China, a fourteen-year-old boy was killed when chair he was sitting on exploded.
Parts of the chair entered the boy’s rectum. The result was extensive bleeding. And it killed him.
The killer chair is a gas cylinder type, of the type seen at computer work stations. In blue.
The height is altered by an adjustable cylinder containing highly pressurised gas. It is this that exploded.
In 2007 another chair exploded, propelling a 20cm part into the backside of a 68-year-old man. He lived.
Made in China. Buyer beware…

The story says it killed him. An early comment says an oxygen cylinder explosion propelled him across a room. Why are people NOT reading and then saying NO WAY!? By the way, the force from the cylinder up against the chair and its load is 80kg or so only so long as the cylinder piston is contained. Who knows how much force is there once released? The chair no doubt can support a 250 lb person, so potentially the force is 250 lb or more. That’ll rip you a new one! If it sent the kid across the room, there would be no time for blood to drip on the chair. Well, maybe we have enough warning. Problem for the US importers: how do you test these chairs? Well maybe we just ban the product entirely. (By the way, I have NO faith this is a true story, or accurately reported. There are just too many weird things happening in China and the Internet is a good source for “Urban Legends”.)

The picture doesn’t go with the story and the story is wrong.
There were two incidents lately. On was a chair that exploded (no one was hurt) and the other was a teen hurt in a chair explosion.
The picture shown here is from the first story. Allegedly the chair exploded overnight in an office cubicle. The employee returned in the morning and they took pictures of it. The steel rod was blown through the top of the chair. I think this one is a hoax. That chair is obliterated.
The second story (the teen one) was similar but the steel rod didn’t drive through his anus. Seriously folks, that’s dumb. What did happen was this. The boy was not sitting on the chair but adjacent to it. The outer housing ruptured and a shard of metal penetrated his abdomen and lodged in his lung. He did die from internal bleeding probably complicated by the fact that he couldn’t breathe.
If you could read Chinese and paid attention to the Chinese dailies (Xinhua state news or WenXue city website) you’d know this.
As a final comment. Use your brains people. Think of how many pneumatic chairs are in the office buildings around you. Times that by the office buildings in your city, times the cities in your state, times the states in the nation, times the nations in the world. Ok. So that’s a crapload of chairs. And we’ve seen what, 2 stories about them exploding. @18 GuitarHero – you are dumb and reactionary.

Looks like a hoax….This explosion had to first pass a 2mm thick piece of metal under the chair…..then the wooden board of the seat……Does not make sense…..

No way the chair exploded and killed the kid.
Tha ‘highly pressurized gas’ in air, and it is only pressurized to the extent that it supports the weight of the chair’s occupant. If the boy weighed 80 kilos, then the total force the pneumatic cylinder produced could not be more than 80 kilos.
I doubt that 80 kilos is enough force to drive chair parts through the bottom of the chair and into the occupant, let alone with enough force to kill him. If the chair actually killed anyone, it is far more likely that the chair collapsed and the boy was impaled by the cylinder as he fell onto it.

maybe it was actually a dildo modified chair, and the boy was being abused by the chair`s dildo which became lethal and expladed inside his thingy causing him internal injure and maybe he got contaminated from iron or some hazardous chinese material on the dildo, like the material from the toys that were removed.

yampster, If shrapnel hit him at the sort of speeds involved in this type of explosion then he really didn’t have time to stand up; there would have been blood everywhere on the seat he was alleged to be sitting on..
I speak from the personal experience of having been blown up, by an exploding regulator on an oxygen cylinder; I can provide an informed description of what it is like to be in a room with a fire being fed by pure oxygen, and I can honestly say that in the nano seconds as I was flying through the air I was praying ‘Please God let all the other cylinders blow because I don’t't want to be roasted alive..’
It was extremely selfish of me, since such an explosion would have taken out a very large chunk of the Barbican; the vast array of glass there would have been smashed inwards cutting people to shreds. On the other hand, when you find yourself faced with the roasted alive option, concern for others tends to fade… .

Chairs like this use pneumatic slides but how can a small tube produce enough power to blast chair parts into a person? The second picture shows the bottom of the chair with no dent or hole and there’s no blood…..

It is indeed, though good to see that Japanese bloggers are providing us with health and safety tips; I detect a tinge of justifiable scepticism on the likelihood of a 14 year old asian boy weighing 80 kilos, but they still passed it on…
