I suppose when she does die we’ll be pilloried for not saying ‘Mourning’ to each other.

JG seemed to like wearing white a lot, so perhaps her mourners will carry that theme, much like the Chinese do for funerals.

D’you think Max will declare it a day off? will the funeral cars be pelted with flowers on the M11, will the flags fly at half mast…shall all other funerals and deaths be postponed out of respect

…June I hope you have a large bottle of satire in your medicine cabinet to use as an antacid to the angst & wailing becuase there is more mournporn to come, the feast is only on the second course, just wait till you see the afters, they will make your eyes water.

…and by uncomfortable subjects…I do not specifically mean death, as it becomes us all, but the way this one has been portrayed & marketed. To coin a phrase…
“it has been flogged to death”, and i, too, find it quite “sad” & also uncomfortably “funny”.

Well she knows what the Media is, she’s been courting it for ages.
Its possible shock numbed her better sense of values, and most people are somewhat embarrassed and uncomfortable with it all.
She isn’t unique, but perhaps as you say a victim, but whose? her own? I do wonder if all the exposure brought her any comfort

The whole public gallery voyeur thing is pathetic and in ghastly taste, but Anorak didn’t engineer it, Jade Goody herself did.
Just raising money/drawing attention by any means - its the shallowness that passes for ‘celebrity’.
Even Max Clifford has said enough is enough, but a private family occasion was reported because there was no party - you are Christian , what’s more important, the sacrament or the ‘do’?
