Anna Nicole Smith’s Boyfriend Gave Her Drugs After She Died
ANNA Nicole Smith’s former boyfriend Howard K. Stern has been arrested. As the AFP puts it:
The late Anna Nicole Smith’s boyfriend and two doctors have been charged with illegally providing the ex-Playboy model with addictive prescription drugs two years after she died of an overdose.
Why drug her after she’s already dead? Curious stuff.
In showbiz you’re never really dead until your agent says so. And right now Anorak and many other news organistions are making a vow to their readers that, unlike last time when the Iraq war intervened, they will be giving the Anna Nicole story the time in deserves.
And the return of Anna Nicole is timely, giving those American celebs unable to find a link to Jade Goody the chance to say that had they only met Anna once they would have been best mates, and possibly saved her life or shared her drugs.
Old Mr Anorak’s godson, who once married Smith, is being mady ready for interview.
California Attorney General Jerry Brown says Smith’s boyfriend and attorney Howard K. Stern and the two doctors – Khristine Eroshevich, and Sandeep Kapoor – conspired to “repeatedly and excessively” provide Smith with drugs.

“These individuals repeatedly and excessively furnished thousands of prescription pills to Anna Nicole Smith, often for no legitimate medical purpose,” Brown said in a statement.
“There is ample evidence that … Eroshevich and Doctor Kapoor violated their ethical obligations as physicians, while Mr. Stern funneled highly addictive drugs to Ms. Smith,” Brown said.
Over a period of three years, the three suspects “furnished thousands of prescription pills to Ms. Smith, including opiates, benzodiazapines, and other controlled and non-controlled substances,” read Brown’s statement.
The doctors “falsified prescriptions and prescribed unwarranted amounts and combinations of highly addictive medications,” while Stern “served as a vital link in obtaining, delivering, and administering these prescription drugs” to Smith.
