An Interview With SpongeBob Cyberstalker Ann Bruno
MEET Ann Bruno, SpongeBob enthusiast and cyber stalker.
In 2001, Sisson, 33, of Cranston ordered the character costume, called a Yellow Cheese to avoid copyright infringement [with SpongeBob], and put $500 down on a costume resembling Bob the Builder, for her party rental business. But she was not happy with the quality of the Yellow Cheese, she said in an interview Wednesday, because of unsightly glue drips. When she called Bruna Puppets and Costumes, of Providence, to cancel the builder costume, owner Ann Bruno refused to return her deposit.

Sisson and her husband, Keith, own Absolute Fun Party Rentals and the Absolute Fun Party Center, in Cranston. She and Bruno, 59, met again in 2006 when Sisson was arranging mortgages at Able Financial Services and Bruno got a job there. Sisson told her boss that she felt uncomfortable working with Bruno and planned to leave. Bruno was laid off, she said.
Later that year, around September, Sisson told the police she began getting mysterious phone calls and Internet messages from companies indicating she had filled out applications. She had not. Her phone was ringing as she came home from the hospital with her third son. “I was walking in the door with my brand-new baby, and someone was calling for my husband.” It was a female voice, she said, and the caller hung up.

On Monday, the police charged Bruno, of West Warwick, with cyberstalking, a misdemeanor. She was issued a summons to appear at District Court, Warwick, on April 14.
Earlier that day, Sisson called the police from the Cranston Public Library, saying she recognized a woman at the computers who might be involved. Bruno wasn’t aware that two officers were standing behind her, a police report said. They watched as she typed Sisson’s name and business address onto an application.
Bruno told the police she was the victim, that she had received harassing phone calls and that applications were filled out in her name.
She said that Sisson had gotten her fired from her job.
Sisson’s business, operating a party center and renting items for home parties, started seven years ago. It’s a family operation, she said. Nieces and nephews appear as characters in costumes, her sister does face painting and temporary tattoos and her husband delivers water slides, moon-bouncers, tables, chairs and tents.

Hey guys,
I’m here to tell my side of the story. I went to high school with Sisson’s mother, Andrea Higgins Moretti. and her father, Roland Moretti.(who was arrested on Feb 3 2009 for ‘operation mobbed up’ for selling drugs and related bookmaking charges)
You can look it up. Just go to ‘operation mobbed up’ on the internet and ‘Roland Moretti’s name comes up. Sisson came to my store said her mom always brags about how successful and talented I was. She asked me for help in any way possible because she was starting a business. I sold her a couple of costume characters for 150.00 not 500.00. She loved the chedder costume and didn’t say a word when she picked it up about any glue. She Then gave me a 25.00 deposiit for another character. A few weeks later, I called to tell her it was ready and she said she would send her husband to pick it up. He came into my store like a raging manic demanding money from me. I told him there were no refund ( as my policy stated) and he started yelling and screaming at me and said she gave me 100.00 but she didn’t have the receipt????????? She lost it????????? Any how he told me that they were buying costumes from a man in peru who just got arrested himself by the .F.B.I in New York.for using ‘Barney’ in a porno movie. Yes, that’s on the internet too. I’m not making this stuff up.
I began renting moviies from the library when I dropped cable because there is never anything on and it was a waste of money. I rented about 12 movies a week. While I was there, there were 2 girls that seemed to be following me and taking photos of me. I didn’t remember what Sisson looked like . I thought she had blonde hair. But they followed me every day and also followed me to my job and I noticed a red car that seemed to be following me home.?
When my computer broke in March, I brought it to PCW in Warwick. I used the computer in the libray while mine was being fixed. You are limited as to the time you spend on the computer. Some are 15 min. limit and some are 1hr. limit. So I began working on my website. I know how to add and delete photos and that’s what I was working on when the maintence man asked if he could talk to me for a minute. I thought maybe there was something wrong with the computer. I went in the office of the library and then a cop came in and accused me of signing people up for credit cards. He asked if I knew Sisson and I said ‘yes’ she follows me every day. but I didn’t think of her as a threat. I was told to drive to the police station and I didn’t sign off on the computer. When the cop got to the station a couple of hours later, he said that he printed what I was working on , on the computer. and he had a stack of sisson’s phone records and he said , I bet you’re on it’ and I said, ‘I bet I’m not’. Then he said that I called her 60 times a day from a phone booth. I told him that I knew that the print out was my website and also that I wanted to see the phone records..
My lawyer got Sisson’s phone records that she submitted to the police and my number was not on it , but a funny thing is that Sisson has 5 phone numbers that are under her name with different addresses and her father, Roland Moretti, (family Business owner) is on the list about 20 times a day, plus her husband Keith and herself. They keep calling over and over and over and over . So What the hell is going on with these calls. Why does her family and friends keep calling her phone. How does she get calls from customers. Am I being set up??
