Liverpool goalkeeper laughs during Hillsborough memorial
LIVERPOOL’S reserve goalkeeper, Charles Indatje (pictured), has incurred the wrath of his club after being caught laughing during the service to commemorate the Hillsborough disaster.
Indatje, who is French, will now be sold off in the summer, and forever face the boos of irate Scousers – quite right too. What’s the French for faux pas? Oh…
From the Grauniad:
‘Anfield officials have described Itandje’s behaviour as “wholly unacceptable” and are exploring the maximum punishment they can impose on the player with their legal advisers.’
When they join the club, every Liverpool player is made aware of the history of Hillsborough. But not every player listens, clearly.

Liverpool should be very wary about asking for a full disclosure of the facts.
The official enquiry started before the investigation team had got everything ready, so Treasury Counsel opened to Taylor LJ by saying ” this is not about drunken and ticketless fans’.
The investigation team tried to indicate that they had not yet finished that part of the submission, but by the time thay had done, it was too late. Counsel refused to go back on his opening remarks, and LJ Taylor was never presented with those facts. He therefore made his recomendations in the light f the evidence he had.
There were, and still are, volumes of statements from the householders along Leppings Lane about the behaviour of the many hundreds of drunken and ticketless fans who came late and tried to crash the entrance.
There is evidence from my colleagues in the Mounted Branch, of Police Horses complete with their riders being crushed against the gate and lifted off their feet by the sheer weight of the fans trying to break it down.
The message which went through to the control room was to the effect, “open the gate, or someone will be killed “.
The enquiry was done in a political climate of trying to lift Liverpool from its ‘victim and scally’ role, into a Eurpopean City of Whatever. The report was worded accordingly.
If they want the truth now, then perhaps is the time to let them have it.
Liverpool killed their own. The ones without tickets at the back who broke in killed the ones with tickets at the front.
If they had not killed people within the ground, they would have killed some outside.
Anywhere else in Europe the Police use Water Cannon and the Leppings Lane scenario, and incidentally the G20 scenarios, simply do not occur.

I think personally Charles Indatje should be kicked out of football all together and fined a years wages for what he did.
