G20 Suspected Manslaughter: Ian Tomlinson Died From Internal Bleeding
IAN Tomlinson did not die from a heart attack at the G20 protest. Ian Tomlinson, who was seen being beaten up by police, died from internal bleeding.
The officer suspended over the death of Ian Tomlinson has been questioned on suspicion of manslaughter.
The second post-mortem was carried out by Dr Nat Cary at the request of the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) and Mr Tomlinson’s family.
A spokesman for the IPCC says:
“Following the initial results of the second post-mortem, a Metropolitan Police officer has been interviewed under caution for the offence of manslaughter as part of an ongoing inquiry into the death of Ian Tomlinson.”
The report continues:
“Dr Cary’s opinion is that the cause of death was abdominal haemorrhage. The cause of the haemorrhage remains to be ascertained. Dr Cary accepts that there is evidence of coronary atherosclerosis but states that in his opinion its nature and extent is unlikely to have contributed to the cause of death.”
Says Mr Tomlinson’s son Paul King:
“First we were told that there had been no contact with the police, then we were told that he died of a heart attack. Now we know that he was violently assaulted by a police officer and died from internal bleeding.
“As time goes on, we hope that the full truth about how Ian died will be made known.”
A man is beaten up in broad daylight by the police.
The police are not here to serve the State. The police are here to serve the people.

I’m no expert but Ms Fisher’s eyes are very open, almost as if they’ve been painted on.
Is that a sign of drug taking?

I see the woman (read waste of space) who got a slap fro a copper is now being represented by Max Clitford. She admits pushing the PC and ” then straight away he gave me a back hander across my left cheek.”
Drunken louts across the country do what she did every weekend and get the same medicine, should she get different treatment just coz her mates are middle-class and carrying red flags?

Was it a baton or was it an asp? Batons used to be big heavy things that could crack yer skull. During the miners strike the coppers had shields too, while the miners used concrete slabs to kill a taxi driver (who took scabs to work). Hype is hype.

I don’t know if he was in his cups at the time, Blackbob. I meant rather his past drinking.

Was he drunk? I thought he looked a bit strange on the clip before he got pushed. If that’s what constitutes being “beaten up” I must have been wickedly murdered (frequently) by the polis when I was a teen in dear old Glasgow town.

Daily Wail commentators will now likely opine that the drink led to his haemorrhage and death. If he’d died of a caved-in skull that still had the police baton sticking out of it, they’d still probably say that drink led to it, mind you.
