I cannot believe the cruel comments I hear and read against the McCann’s to loose their lovely daughter like that and when it was preventable if the police in the resort had done their job.
My heart goes out to Kate and Gerry and I pray that very soon Madeline will be found and returned to her beloved parents and siblings

I haven’t wavered in my belief that ‘who knows’?

It could be the parents, an abductor, the Portuguese government or maybe MM wandered off and got swashed out to sea.

The most likely is an abductor - but I still think the parents are ‘mistaken’ in their recollections of their checks & that they said ridiculous things which have probably hindered the investigation & the relentless publicity did nothing but turn Madeleine into an Urban Myth.

PeterMac, by that I meant she is dead. Guess used the wrong words using ‘worst scenario.’

You know my stand on this and I have not waivered in my belief the parents don’t know what happened to her after they were irresponsible to leave the 3 children alone when they went to dine.

Why do you say this is the worst scenario ?
For the McCs and the Tapasniks to develop a conscience and tell what they know woule surely be a good thing, even after all this time.
And finding her remains makes it possible that M could be given a decent burial, and that the crime investigation could continue.

The FBI and the Center for Missing and Exploited Children do a good job in aging a child or criminal. I watched on The Most Wanted when John Walsh showed a man’s picture aged 20 years, who had killed his wife and children 20 years prior, and the very next day someone called in who had seen the picture and said he worked in the office with them in Richmond. The news showed pictures of the man being taken out of that office and it was mind blowing to see him looking exactly like that aged picture shown the night below.

Who knows, if by a miracle, that young child is alive just maybe someone will recognize ‘the child next door’ and make a phone call. The worst scenario, maybe this will make whoever took her stop and think and develop a conscience and tell what they know, or make an anonymous phone call, as to where her remains can be found.

First picture’s a bit weird- looks more like a young Kate in her teenage years- but the one with dark hair is a bit more realistic.
