Grand National-winning jockey offered free dental makeover

by | 22nd, April 2009

treadwell-teeth1REMEMBER Liam Treadwell? He’s the dentally challenged jockey who won this year’s Grand National on 100/1 outsider Mon Mome.

Little Liam also hit the headlines after BBC presenter Clare “Fatty Fatty Boom Boom” Balding slagged off his crooked gnashers on live TV

In the wake of Toothgate, Liam had several offers from dentists keen to fix his teeth for free (and for the publicity, of course).

He has taken one of them up on their offer and had a consultation in London this week. He told The Argus newspaper:

“I would never have even thought about going to get them done as it’s not something that affects me.

“As a jockey it’s the last thing on my mind but you don’t get a lot for free in life so when it comes along you have to make the most of it.

“I’m not really scared of going to the dentist, in fact I’m looking forward to it. But if it will affect my racing then I won’t have it done. I’m not prepared to miss rides because I’ve got to go to the dentist every week.”

Clare Balding, would you like to slag off the size of Mr. Anorak’s penis? Go on, we dare you…
