UNLIKE investment bankers, Premier League footballers are, sadly, recession proof. So yhey are now the only people who can afford to buy this special edition Liverpool FC mobile phone.
Only 250 of the phones have been made. Each of the 18-carat gold handsets is studded with 18 diamonds, in honour of Liverpool’s 18 league titles. It costs a frankly ridiculous £14,490. Yes, you read that right.
It gets better. Each phone comes in a North African black walnut presentation box, lined with red (naturally) velvet. Oooh, classy.
Also included in each presentation box is a 22-carat gold-plated commemorative medallion, featuring Anfield on its face.
Tacky? Very.

no, but it suddenly multiplies itself 100-fold into very cheap and nasty versions to be sold at various car boots in the northwest……
