I think the shows are as demeaning as are the 'Beauty contests' and people who have a reasonably enduring talent get rejected, and at what cost? But I agree with your earlier post that its time everyone got over Susan Boyle, her voice is amazing , her appearance is no worse than many who live in the real world, and if she is comfortable in her skin who has the right to change that? After all how many 18yr old size 0 people are there really alive and well? and how many will make it to 47? Can’t say I even watch these shows, real talent will out anyway.

So sad. Pushy parents don't seem able to control themselves when parading their children so maybe the organisers should deal with it?
