SUSAN Boyle is “close to the edge” says the Daily Star. “TALENT SUSAN BREAKS DOWN”, screams the front-page headline.
Fast-tracked to fame and now fast-tracked to the trappings of fame, will Susan Boyle enter rehab and then appear on a talk show to tell of her demands and her journey? Will she ghost write I Dreamed A Nightmare?
SUSAN Boyle was on the verge of a breakdown last night as war broke out between her family and telly bosses over her future.
This is the same Susan Boyle who lives alone with her cat? Is Pebbles her manager?
Her brother John revealed the singing sensation was “cracking up” as her relatives clashed with Britain’s Got Talent producers over her future. Her family are furious that she is being denied the opportunity to cash in on her overnight superstardom in the States.
They believe she could be earning millions of dollars already with a tour of America.
Cash in while you can… But contracts written in hope remain binding…
Yesterday John demanded crisis talks over her contract, pleading: “Just let her sing. We’re pleading with Simon Cowell to loosen the reins.”
Cowell owns Boyle.
The Star says Boyle is “wilting”.
Friends fear she is on the verge of a breakdown as she also considers the impact of uprooting from her home to take her career to the next level.
To recap: Boyle’s breaking under pressure of not being allowed to go to America and wilting from the worry of being allowed to, er, leave home and sing in America?
Pebbles needs to stagger the press releases.
Says Susan’s brother John:
“We are more and more worried about her health. She is not used to all this and when I speak to her she sounds exhausted.”
So in no fit state to sing..?
Susan Boyle is just a woman who likes to sing - then the media got hold of her and turned her into something else…

So far the last I heard from Simon was that Susan has four weeks to prepare for her “biggest day”, read “final” on his show. He did not notice the change that now Susan is her own judge, and he can approach her only with care (better with real care as a fair check). And as I understand her safety did not come around in his mind yet.
I hope very much that Susan knows she does not need his final, she saw enough humiliation in her life. She discovered his show in Britain to the world and she does not have to make him richer on her own anymore. All Susan needs to do at THIS time is to create her CD and let it go, she needs to help herself, not to the sharks in the entertainment business.

Families always seem to crawl out of the woodwork when there’s money! I’d trust Simon Cowell and his business brain far more than opportunist grasping family members.
I wish everyone would leave her alone or she really will crack.

This is all too much for Susan! She goes on the show and wins, then is off to the beautician for a fix-up job which was brilliantly done, then the family fight, then it rains. She should take Pebbles the cat and make a run for it.

Everyone who appears on the show is under contract to Simon Cowell. This is so that he can make money out of any acts he discovers. SuBo and her putative manager brother must be more naive than they appear if they think they can swan off to the US and make a fortune without SC getting his 40% (allegedly). It’s the price you pay for appearing on SC’s shows and getting the hype and publicity that goes with that appearance
