Man Banned From Touching Men’s Muscles
MEET Akinwale Arobieke, of Toxteth, Liverpool - known locally as “Purple Aki” – has, allegedly, broken a court ruling preventing him from approaching men and touching their muscles.
In 2003 he was jailed for harassment.
And since then Purple Aki has been barred from touching under-18s muscles asking them to squat, under the terms of a Sexual Offences Prevention Order.
Mr Aki is 47.
In Liverpool Crown Court, the Beak hears testimony that Mr Arobieke did ask a 17-year-old to show him his biceps - after a (Sopo) was imposed.
Mr Arobieke denies the allegation.
Where true or not, the case is overshadowed by the nickname Purple Aki, an moniker that makes the accused sound like an exotic vegetable…
