Ayman Udas Murdered By Brothers In Pakistan For Being On TV
IN Peshawar, Pakistan, a singer called Ayman Udas in her early thirties, a divorced mother of two and newly re-married was mjurdered by her brothers.
Why?
Because she had been on the telly, namely state-run TV PTV.
The brothers fired three bullet sinto her chest. Both remain at large.
Her last song:
“I died but still live among the living, because I live on in the dreams of my lover.”
Says her husband Usman Khan:
“She was killed for breaking her family traditions.”
She was killed for being a woman…
