Danielle Lloyd Dates Spurs

DANIELLE Lloyd has been “punched in the face”. As the Sun says:

WAG DANIELLE LLOYD was punched in the face in a brawl over her Spurs star boyfriend JAMIE O’HARA. The 25-year-old model suffered a cut lip as trouble flared with pals of Jamie’s ex SADE METCALFE.

Sade is an “aspiring model” who, as the story goes, says Dani stole Jamie. And the trio came together in a fighti fighti at a clubbie-wubbi.

Dani says she was struck.

She intends to press charges over the “violent assault”.

The Sun gives reader some background:

Jamie’s Tottenham team-mate JERMAIN DEFOE, ex-England hitman TEDDY SHERINGHAM [also Spurs], Birmingham’s MARCUS BENT and Liverpool winger RYAN BABEL.

Better, perhaps, that Dani direct her appeal not to the courts but to the FA’s disciplinary bench and call for Sade to be orange-carded, banned for three games and docked points.

Danielle’s manager tells us:

“She has swelling and an injury to her lip. She was absolutely shocked and horrified at what happened. She and Jamie had had a lovely weekend and she was attacked for no reason.”

What we need is WAGcam, a device that enables footy fans to see what WAGS are getting up to. Of course, silly us, there already exists such a service– it’s called BBC Sport and long may its Priapic cameramen pick out the lovely ladies in the crowd (surely screaming harpies? – ed)…
