Atlanta Student Shoots Would-Be Mass Murderers And Rapists
TO a college house party in Georgia, where two masked and armed men burst in through a patio door.
The 10 students fear the worst.
The men are separated from the women.
Student Charles Bailey looks on as the gunmen start counting bullets. Says he:
“The other guy asked how many (bullets) he had. He said he had enough.”
A student reacts. He grabs a gun out of a backpack and shoots at one of the villains. The gunman flees.
The student races to the room where the second gunman, 23-year-old Calvin Lavant, is holding the women.
Gunfire.
Says Bailey:
“Apparently the guy was getting ready to rape his girlfriend. So he told the girls to get down and he started shooting. The guy jumped out of the window.”
A neighbour hears screams for help:
“And I heard someone say, ‘Someone help me. Call the police. Somebody call the police.’”
Lavant is found dead by his apartment, one block away.
One female student was shot several times during the crossfire. But is expected to recover.
So is the right to bear arms wrong?

Ebony; He didn’t chase after him. He shot him, and then he ran away to die. Unlike Hollywood, people don’t usually die instantly from a gunshot unless it’s a well-placed shot. You have to wait for them to bleed out.
Kay; I don’t see how this turned into a race thing. It wasn’t “blacks vs. whites”. If you watch the interviews, you’ll see that all parties involved were black. Like any other race, there are good guys AND bad guys that are black.
Cheryl; Several states do not require CHL permits. Even if Georgia does, who said that the student didn’t go through the proper channels to attain one. It’s not hard to get one as long as you have a clean record and take a firearm safety class. Also, It was on private property. You’re not required to have a permit to keep it concealed on your own property……Second, Who cares if he owned the gun? Have you owned every car you’ve driven? As long as it’s not stolen, who cares whose it was? Most states do not require gun registration, so that’s another “who cares?”. He protected the innocent. The ends justify the means. I want more friends like him.

Kay, it’s called c-o-n-d-i-t-i-o-n-i-n-g.
For at least 4 decades the liberals, using the power of the TV and newsprint mediums, have hammered into everyone’s heads this message: “White people are racist scoundrels out to harm and screw-over all the other races, especially the blacks.”
And as a point of fact, it was the king of all liberals, Ted Koppel, that led the charge!
Koppel, you see, did one Nightline show after another for well over two-decades in which he “enlightened” millions of us with the *facts* that Caucasians are worthless scumbags and should be treated like crap. He used his golden piehole to tell blacks that they’re not getting a fair shake in life, while never, ever mentioning how Caucasians raised the standard of living for billions of people around the world via their science and technology!
Koppel never made a mention during any of his put-down shows that Caucasians have spent billions of dollars to help the poor folks of Africa … never made a mention that life-saving vaccines have resulted in MILLIONS of people of African descent living long, healthy lives due to Caucasian generosity! He only cared about tap dancing to whatever black hate-freaks (like Farrakhan and Jackson) wanted everyone to think and believe with respect to matters of race.
The damage that Koppel did to the truth of things has been enormous. If one is Caucasian all one has to do is go out into the world and get near blacks and experience the hatred first hand. I can’t count how many times I’ve seen in the news whereby a Caucasian had his brains stomped in or was raped … or car-jacked, and yet hardly ever have I heard of Caucasians going out of their way to harm blacks. Just Google “Kristopher Kime” sometime to see just one example of millions in which unvarnished hatred of Caucasians has been leveled at them by spoiled, brainwashed blacks (but understand that the clever libs have done a marvelous job of removing the vicious details from Internet blurbs that are out there about Kime’s murder).
A little 13-year-old girl here where I live was raped and had her throat cut from ear to ear by a 36-year-old black man not so long ago, and the media acted like it was nothing, no big deal at all! Just another day in America!!
Caucasian have been beaten down by the libs using the media. Look at how O.J. Simpson was going around playing golf and did so without being harmed. Look at how there’s a Miss Black America contest but not one exclusively for Caucasians. Look at how there’s Black History Month … look how there’s Black Music Month … BET … NAACP … and on and on it goes while those phony bastards in the media keep coming out with their “studies” saying that Caucasians are shafting blacks and other so-called “people of color” 24/7!
Ted Koppel was the media lib that showed all the other media libs how to blame “whites” for all the ills of the world, thus by lying about factual matters they spare themselves the danger of being physically pounded by black hate-freaks!
Just blame whitey for everything that’s wrong in the world is the name of the game — who cares about the truth!!!
Again, there are millions of good-hearted and wonderful blacks, no question; but far too many of them have bought into the garbage that the libs abusing their media soapboxes have been stuffing down everyone’s throats for too long. It’s long past time to let them know that we’re not “racist” and that we’re not going to allow this BS to continue!
Get a gun and some instructions on how to use it from a qualified instructor. Do this before our media-backed president figures out a way to take away our 2nd Amendment Right. (You don’t want to be a Caucasian and have no way to defend yourself from the inevitable horror that’s coming down the pike!)

Hmm if 2 white guys went into an apartment and tried to kill 10 people who were all black this would be all over the news as a hate crime. Yet this kind of thing happens all the time. Not only does it happen with crimes, but just in regular social situations. On my college campus black people are constantly treating whites like crap, and they don’t dare treat/talk to other blacks like that because they are scared. That is prejudice and racism, and it’s so screwed up that we are somehow too scared to defend ourselves FROM racism because we don’t want to seem racist??? How can this be???

i agree with him trying to protect his friends but if the gunman was so scared why after he shot the intruder and the intruder jumped out the window did he chase after him and shoot him in the face, if the gunman was already out the window why not wait for the police to come, instead of chasing after him, something doesnt add up with this story

Cheryl, you’re entitled to whatever PC opinions you like. I stick with the truth. Here in the States one takes their life in their hands if they dare venture into “black areas,” that’s if one is Caucasian.

Google “wichita massacre” to get a picture of what very likely could have happened to these young people had one of them not hand a gun and the guts to use it.
While there are many wonderful blacks in America, there is at the same time a huge percentage (of blacks) that have a deep hatred for Caucasians and wake up every day with the desire to commit horrible crimes … .
Caucasians need to start being honest about the black-on-white crime epidemic that’s been going on for decades. Even president Obama and his wife sat for 20-years sucking up the racist hatred of their black preacher, Wright.

should there be a black thug control law to complement the new democrat ”hate crime” legislation?.. these black thugs are allowed to roam free inspite of certaily other criminal actions, and the public has to permit them to do as they please while they set-up their next attack. even blacks are not safe from this thug black population.
since almost 75% of all ‘bias’ (hate crime) crime is commited by blacks against whites per FBI STATS, and the white pect. includes all hispanic criminals even those of non-european ancestry.. who is this hate crime legislation going to protect and from whom??

this man is a hero. he saved 10 innocent from 2 hardened criminals who probably would continue to rob, rape and kill others. it was self-defense and the gun was in his house. I don’t see how there would be a concealed weapon violation here.
to your second question, the police and local news haven’t mentioned any legality issues, as of yet.

cherly there is no law requiring gun registration in georgia nor does it matter if it was his brothers gun, friends gun, etc as long as it wasnt stolen.

The Right to Bear Arms will never be taken away.
No doubt there would have been a slaughter since the intruders were counting bullets and had separated the men and women into different rooms. However, I’m sitting here wondering if the student who had a concealed weapon in a backpack could be charged for violating any laws. 1) Big no no to carry a concealed weapon without a special permit; 2) was the gun legally registered and owned by him?
