American Idol: Paula Abdul Presents Sci-Fi Night

WHEN Britney Spears mimed her impression of a menstrual Max Wall on The X Factor, we thought it a performance that could not be topped.

But, then, American Idol judge Paula Abdul appeared on stage and did a mime that required not one but two microphones.

It all reminds me of when Old Mrs Anorak the Third’s daughter Ukrainia went to Boston in the 1980s and enthused about a brilliant boy band called New Kids On The Block, a clutch of outstanding black dancers.

It was then pointed out to her that those were the dancers and New Kids On the Block were the five pudgy white chaps in vasrous states of bewilderment in the centre stage.

So here’s Paula ‘Two Mics’ Abdul getting in the way of the dancers and the singer, Twiki from Buck Rogers who can be seen being chocked to death in her bustier.
