That man is Julian Lewis, the shadow defence minister. In his hands our great nation is ably defended.

Mr Lewis claimed £119 for a wall-mounted trouser press and £5 for a “sweater tidy”.

We feel assured these tidy Smart Turnout sweaters are cableknit cricket whites or a reassuringly itchy Guernsey in various shades of blue and green (no modish flecks).
