I fully agree that some of them are like that. Not all of them though.

I saw the good doctors on GMTV and found the whole thing disturbing- Fern having to look horror struck and concerned for so long, reminded me of a 'constipated rhinoceros'.. tho' one would have to ask an expert body zoologist about this.

Doctor Kate did alarm me in one segment when she butted in on Gers' flow towards the end- a cruel smile seemed to be momentarily play..Some could argue it was a 'stress smile'..who knows- again the services of an expert are required. I know its been said before, but why not take one of these new brain imaging 'lie detector' tests...If I were them I honestly would, if honestly innocent.

Most alarmingly there was another family present whose daughter went missing in Germany 27 years ago-they also had their daughter technologically aged- not once did the camera give us a close-up of this girls' age enhanced photograph..instead the camera would pan towards Kate and Ger even as this family were telling their story..I wonder if they feel used by the McC media machine or are just grateful for any chance to find their missing child?

It's not an exact science, obviously, but it is interesting. And I've had a bit of basic training in "non-verbal communication". My curiosity was started by reading some of Desmond Morris's books as a teenager. I told my partner that a couple, who I'd only met once, would split up. She told me not to be so ridiculous. Sadly, I was right. One example of many I could bore you with, but won't. (Hooray!) :)

Sue, if your question is addressed to me..... my take on things, is that I believe Amaral, who was there, and who saw so many things we couldn't possibly ever know about. Who was able to get a proper impression of the couple, and their friends, when they were off camera.

Noone would wish a parent to lose a child as punishment for leaving that child unattended, of course not. But one would want them to tell the truth.

Whatever theory you believe in, the fact is that Madeleine is no longer with her family, so, obviously, Kate would appear devastated, and it doesn't prove that any theory is correct.

The arms crossed thing is interesting. Surely right on top of left is natural for most, left over right feels uncomfortable. Therefore, the latter might be the one where one might conclude the whole truth is not being told? My theory is that these gestures don’t always indicate guilt or lying, but maybe a sign of just being uncomfortable eg when you’re saying something you think people won’t believe? (Even though it’s true)

Got any other hobbies? You're crap! ;)

“all the times he was in a bar in Portugal smoking and having a laugh with mates? when he should have been professionally searching for poor Madeleine”

It just shows that some people choose to believe some things they read and then jump on their high horse when they read something they don’t want to believe.

C&C... yes, that's why I said "for most". Although saying that, I'm right handed but apparently use the wrong hand for my fork (right one) as does my daughter. I can't imagine why it would be the other way round for the majority of the population as it feels perfectly natural for me. But there you go.

It just shows that some people choose to believe some things they read and then jump on their high horse when they read something they don't want to believe.

I suppose you believe every negative thing you read about Sr. Amaral and think K and G have done nothing wrong. I'll bet you're one of the "We've all done it", "Haven't they suffered enough?" brigade.

Sue, I was just wondering why you should imagine I have a petty little life? Where are the clues for that? I always thought that the type of people with petty little lives were those who spelled devastation, as devestation.

You see, looking at the facts (dogs indicating scents, only Kate's finger prints on the window, kate leaving her baby twins sleeping unprotected in a room with an open window where she claims an abductor has just taken her 3 year old baby etc, etc, etc) is exactly what I do do. You should try it sometime, you may be very surprised.

Also, what makes someone "heartless" because they want to see the Mc Cs on TV? surely they want people to see them, that's why they are there.

As for mistakes... well I do make the occasional spelling mistake......but, no, I have never left my children with anyone other than their grandparents, or in school/ballet classes for even one tiny moment, and would never even consider it. As for leaving them sleeping totally alone in an unfamiliar place..... don't make me smirk.

Strange

I thought they were in a restaurant awaiting their evening meal over a bottle of wine.

What 'bars' are talking about - its very misleading.........

Moderator -a tapas bar; hardly a restaurant

I think you will wait long enough for any evidence to back up the abduction theory -
it remains a theory which in my humble opinion lacks credibility.

The fact is that Madeleine is missing and whatever it takes Gerry and Kate will do their best to find her - maybe then we can judge them but in the meantime they want Madeleine found. I too would have a smirk on my face if I was sueing him - all the times he was in a bar in Portugal smoking and having a laugh with mates? when he should have been professionally searching for poor Madeleine - Madeleine may well have died in the flat and then taken away - surely the McCanns wouldn't keep the publicity up if they had anything to do with it? The only mistake they made was leaving her and the twins alone.

I still smile at the way Karen Matthews was portrayed (here and there) as a saint, a real mother, someone who loved her children and wasn't in it for the money; the epitome of what a genuine greiving mother should look like. 'This is real grief......' came up over and over again. 'Not like the McCanns and their fake crocodile tears.....'

Tee Hee. Showed how crap they were at judging body language!

Yes I saw This Morning and if you were able to watch it - you would have seen the devestation on Kates face so why don’t yoy get a life and look at the facts behind poor Madeleine ? How could you be so heartless? have you made any mistakes in your petty little life?

Yeah but did you see the smirk on gerry's face when talking about suing amaral? Also Sue, could you do me a favour and fill me in on the facts? I'm particuarly interested in the abduction theory :)
