Susan Boyle On The Simpsons

by | 20th, May 2009

susan-boyle-simpsonsSUSAN Boyle is to appear in an episode of The Simpsons.

In the show Boyle inspires Hairless Angel Homer Simpson to audition for a talent show.

Stood before a yellowy Simon Cowell, Homer says:

“My name is Homer Simpson, I’m 39 years old and, well, I’ve never been kissed. My dream is to be a great singer like Susan Boyle.”

Having been previously mentioned in cartoon show South Park and patronised by Oprah Winfrey, Boyle is now on Springfield’s Got Talent.

Two dimensional cartoon characters and one-dimensional reality TV agonists – compare and contrast.

Interesting fast:  The character Marge Simpson was orginally based on Susan Boyle. But now Susan Bouyle is famous, Marge is based on Linda Johns of 13, Allington Way, Verwood, Dorset.
