Scientists Create Glowing Monkeys

glowing monkey Scientists Create Glowing MonkeysJAPANESE scientists have created a monkey that glows green.

The “transgenic” marmosets, written about in Nature journal, can pass on their glowing gene to their offspring.

Erika Sasaki of the Central Institute for Experimental Animals in Japan, and her colleagues, enabled the monkeys to create green fluorescent protein (GFP) in their bodies.

The GFP protein was originally isolated from the bioluminescent jellyfish Aequorea Victoria that creates flashes of blue light.

It is thought the monkeys will help aid with human ills, like Parkinson’s, cancers and the police, who could benefit from admitting monkeys that can emit a flashing blue light, possibly while squeezing the testicles of a small cat to make mee-maw sound, or hippy…

The science goes on.
