Everton Sponsored By Britain’s Got Talent

IT’S the FA Cup Final sponsored by Britain’s Got Talent. If anyone wanted to know how meaningful the FA Cup has become, know that it now blessed by Britain’s Got Talent.

Between 14:10 and 14:18 ITV anchor man Steve Rider mentioned Britain’s Got Talent on three occasions and just what BGT means to the FA Cup.

He was interrupted by a video of Amanda Holden sat in her BGT dressing room draped in the blue of Everton and moving the moving part of her face to say how amazing the FA Cup is and if it cries then it might well win a recording deal with Simon Cowell.

The broadcast was broken by Old Mr Anorak slipping a placing a studded boot through the screen. A new TV cranked up, we saw the FA Cup being heralded by a song from Faryl Smith, the Britain’s Got Talent ambassador.

Says one Everton fans:

“When Louis Saha scored after 30 seconds I began singin’ and prayin’ that the cameras would pick me out…”

Altogether now: “One Nessun Dorma and no Les Mis, doo-dah, doo-dah….”
