‘Angelinia’ The priest at the Catholic church in PDL at the time is still alive and well and conducting mass in the same church and holding services for Madeleine.
He never went anywhere! he was even interviewed by the PJ.

Paedophile snubs Madeleine grilling

Final attempts by private detectives searching for Madeleine McCann to interview a convicted British paedophile about her disappearance have failed.

Retired UK policemen Dave Edgar and Arthur Cowley flew to Germany hoping to speak to Raymond Hewlett, who is said to have been staying an hour’s drive from the McCann’s Portuguese holiday flat when the little girl vanished in May 2007.

But negotiations between the private investigators and Hewlett’s German lawyer broke down.

Mr Edgar, who has been employed by Madeleine’s parents Kate and Gerry McCann to look for their daughter, said he was “very disappointed” with the lawyer’s behaviour.

He added: “I have been attempting to speak with Raymond Hewlett to eliminate him from our investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.

“He is not a suspect but I was keen to interview him because of his failing health. I have tried over the past weeks to arrange this via his lawyer in Germany.

“These negotiations have been difficult for reasons which I do not want to go into detail about. Mr Hewlett’s condition has of course been deteriorating during these negotiations.

“I travelled to Germany yesterday in a final effort to interview Raymond Hewlett. Regrettably that interview is not possible. From information provided by his lawyer and other sources it is obvious that his health is such that any meaningful interview would not be possible.”

West Yorkshire Police has confirmed its officers are investigating Hewlett in connection with an indecent assault in 1975.

Madeleine was nearly four when she went missing from Praia da Luz in the Algarve on May 3, 2007 while her parents dined with friends nearby. Despite a massive police investigation and huge publicity worldwide, she has not been found.

We never heard any more about the Priest at the Catholic Church in the Algarve where the McCanns went to regularly while aftr Maddie disappeared. He was very supportive to the McCanns. Remeber all the fuss about whether she was buried in the church grounds , then the Priest left due to stress- understandably after all the controversy and media pressure. But surely someone like him or another altruisitc individual within that church community with contacts in the community could assist now as time has gone on. Local clergy know their flock well and could have information they do not even realise is valuable.

I have not MET her but I knew what the problem was–the spirit that was taking her over was a gibbering menace on the spiritual plane–in this world it would scare the s*** out of one. If I meet her on the spiritual plane I more than likely would never meet her in THIS world. I have not tried to meet her, it was enough for me just to get rid of the friggin’ entity for her.
As I’ve said, she’s normal now. That doesn’t mean, of course, that another entity could try to get her again. As for why? I think the devout Catholicism of her parents drew the entity to their daughter.
As for proving this situation? I’m still going day to day on that one. I gave the truth because everyone in the UK really got together about her and cared about where she was. NOBODY would have EVER guessed what really happened to her, that was another reason. Look, I don’t want to be famous–a reward for finding her, hell yes!
But do you honestly think they’d pay that reward?!

I gave what I know–how she’s going to “come back” to you guys in Britain I don’t know. For me, knowing she’s not dealing with the enitity is fine for now–but it would be nice to see a new picture of her wouldn’t it? Maybe her parents will bring her back now. Nobody likes to admit this stuff exists but as it stands now, she’s back to herself..

Psychics and the like hurt the parents and families of missing children more than anything and that I can’t excuse.

I came across this blog a while ago on UK Skeptics. It’s by a mother whose son was missing for 14 years and she obviously didn’t have a clue what had happened to him.

John, the trouble with psychics, shamen, etc etc is they’re all so vague. If you can prove what you’re saying is true, that’d be great. But how many people have said they know what’s happened to Madeleine, and then all given different stories? A bit like religion, how can they all possibly be true, and that’s one of the main reasons that people don’t believe anymore.
I don’t think anyone is suggesting you’d hurt Madeleine but we’re a cynical bunch on Anorak, that’s what the site is all about!

Yeah, I’m still shaking my head over that one.. the guy’s gonna die, they’ll constantly insinuate that he was involved in the situation, and no one will ask any more questions.. it amuses and disgusts. All I have to do is keep an evil spirit off Maddie’s back and she’s normal; they in turn have to keep producing excuses or “leads” to the world–(wait for the 3rd Anniversary, “New Suspect”, etc)..
They might want to recognize the fact that a shaman is involved in this thing–I’ve been one for 13 years and know what happened to Maddie– I also have the knowledge that she is no longer “possessed” but is in a state of shock at where she’s at. She is cared for by these people, true, but this charade cannot go on forever..then again, maybe it can the way it looks.

Interesting question of did he or did he not see her alive as he now claims he never said it. One way to get that answer is to go to the newspaper which first printed the story wherein they claim he said he did see her, ask directly for time, place, and name of person who told them that story supposedly quoting Hewlett.

It is time the newspapers be held accountable to prove what they write are true facts.
