		<description>The solution to this is so obvious I'm surprised no one has thought of it before. At the end of each loaf are two thick crusts which are usually thrown away. If the average family in the UK consumes two loaves a week then that is approximately 60 million crusts being thrown away each week. You don't have to be a mathematical genius to work out how much bread that is a year. Now, if we extrapolate those figures world wide we see that there is tremendous wastage of bread and the grain to make it in these thick crusts. We need a UN resolution to get bakers worldwide to stop baking loaves with crusts on the end. Simple.
