Man Tries To Kill Wife’s Lover With Rifle, Knife And Brick

IN Austria, a teacher has been arrested “with a high powered hunting rifle, knife and large brick which he planned to use to teach a love rival a lesson about the dangers of sleeping with another man’s wife.”

The brick?

When secondary school teacher Leonardo Mazzanti found steamy messages on wife Francesca’s phone he pretended to be her and arranged a meeting with her lover at a deserted car park in Saluggia, northern Italy.

But David Sal grew suspicious when he got a second message telling him to wear a red tie and called police.

A red tie?

Two officers who turned up at the location spotted high school teacher Mazzanti hiding in the bushes and arrested him together with a long-distance sniper rifle, hunting knife and brick.

That brick?

He was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
