My dogs are very successful at conning me into thinking they might be hungry, or that they could do with a snuggle on the sofa. I know that they read the ‘daily dog news’ on lamposts and telegraph poles, trees walls etc.

There are some dogs who are brilliant at sniffing out drugs or other contraband, even people from earthquakes and other disasters, but lazy policing is unforgiveable, the dog can only indicate something, not provide evidence enough to jail people. The humans involved should be ashamed

Interesting case over here re a police dog whose incredible abilities to find the truth nothing but the truth — so jurors and courts bought - put people in prison!
