please don’t patronise me, i’m not aiming to offend, i just have a different point of view.
i do agree that it is down to parents to be responsible for what websites their children view.
however, removing anything that may be considered offensive from the internet seems an unrealistic approach. different people have varying definitons of what is ‘offensive’ or not. some websites that you may consider to be filth may be less than suitable for younger people, but not harmful to those who are old enough to view them.
although i agree with parents taking action to stop their children having access to these, i think that removing them completely is a bit extreme - for the most part, adults can take responsibilty themselves for what websites they choose to view.

yampster - i’ll agree that maybe my saying ‘get a life’ was a strong statement, but in my personal opinion i couldnt understand why anyone would want to spend a large portion of their time policing what everyone else is doing on the internet, rather than just taking care of themselves/their family?

Moderator - Perhaps if you could just post on the topic, and leave moderating other posters to us, you might find yourself in a more agreeable place. Strange you didn’t even think to read any of Yampster’s posts, then you would have comprehended his style, and not rushed in with a rebuke on your very post
