Missing Cat Joins BBC Question Time Panel

THAT’S Tango the ginger Tom BBC1’s Question Time, listing attentively as David Dimbleby and assorted politicians and celebrities chat, frown and look smug about this and that.

Live-ish from Treviglas community college, Newquay, Cornwall where Jackie Ellery works in the school canteen. Hence the cat.

Says she:

“My friend phoned me up to say have you seen your cat on the telly. I’d been doing something else at the time but rewound it and there he was.

“It’s lovely - he’s a mischievous cat anyway and because we live so close to the school he’s often in school grounds. The sixth formers know him really well. He must have known something was going on.”

Now that Tango is bona fide celebrity, he has been booked to chat on next week’s show to discuss the state of school dinners, why he hated Michael Jackson and why is it that cats - 8 out of then of them  - get to vote in a general election but other Britons don’t…
