Anorak News | Barack Obama Becomes Adolf Hitler

Barack Obama Becomes Adolf Hitler

by | 2nd, July 2009

hitler-obama-1AS Anorak predicted, you know you’re the President of the United States when you’re compared to Adolf Hitler. It’s a right of office.

A US President needs two things: a death cult and a fan to mock him up as Adolf Hitler.

Paint on a moustache as Obama turns into Hitler:

Thomas Sowell saw  a likeness:

To find anything comparable to crowds’ euphoric reactions to Obama, you would have to go back to old newsreels of German crowds in the 1930s, with their adulation of their fuehrer, Adolf Hitler.

The Huff Po saw it:

I was totally on the fence about Barack Obama being exactly like Adolph Hitler, but then I saw that he had all these fans in Germany that loved to shout his name. Coincidence?

hitler-tea1Gerhard Spörl in Der Spiegel sensed it:

Anyone who saw Barack Obama at Berlin’s Siegessäule on Thursday could recognize that this man will become the 44th president of the United States. He is more than ambitious—he wants to lay claim to become the president of the world…

Benedict Nightingale alluded to it:

“There can’t be a politician who looks and acts more clean-living… He does not wave his hands about very much. And when he does it is not an empty gesture but serves to underline a point.”

JTA: “GOP site apologizes for Obama-Hitler comparison”

The Baltimore Jewish Times reports that a Republican women’s Web site in Maryland has apologized for comparing Barack Obama’s health care reform efforts to Hitler’s “blitzkrieg method.”

Kansas City:  “Lawrence teacher involved in Obama-Hitler controversy to keep his job.”

During the class on various forms of government, he spoke of several world leaders and political conditions, noting at one point that Hitler was an eloquent speaker elected in desperate economic times.

About 15 minutes later, he mentioned that Obama was an eloquent speaker, taking office in a bad economy.

One girl, a good student who likes to argue and supports Obama, said: “So you’re comparing Obama to Hitler?” She reported that to a school official, he said, and media accounts and nasty e-mails followed.

A video tells it:

Chicago Breaking News looks on:

A Highland Park man has been charged with disorderly conduct after allegedly confronting a Chicago man and woman about their makeshift sidewalk sign which depicted President Obama as Adolf Hitler, police said.

s-colbert-obama-largeSodaHead: “Obama and Hitler would have been bestfriends.”

Daily Voice: “Listen Up Stephen Colbert: Barack Obama Is Not Hitler”

Jeffrey Goldberg: Now Obama is Hitler?

If I’m not mistaken, that’s what Frank Gaffney is kinda, sorta saying:

After his five months in office, and most especially after his just-concluded visit to Saudi Arabia and Egypt, however, a stunning conclusion seems increasingly plausible: The man now happy to have his Islamic-rooted middle name featured prominently has engaged in the most consequential bait-and-switch since Adolf Hitler duped Neville Chamberlain over Czechoslovakia at Munich.

Who were US leaders compared to before Hitler? Or was his failed bid for domination that gave them the fear factor
