I think Jack Straw is right, that he is unrepentant and therefore shouldn't be freed just because he is ill....
however, I do also feel that Michael Shields has suffered from this decision and Mr Straw is somehow drawing parallels between letting Biggs off the rest of his sentence and letting Michael Shields go free...
...and that's grossly unfair....</description>
